Malcolm Lightner was born in 1969 in Naples, Florida and received a BFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an MFA in photography from Arizona State University. He is an established photographer who works and resides in New York City. He has been the recipient of many awards and grants and his work has been featured in many fine art exhibitions. His work has appeared in major publications and he recently had his first book published.
Lightner has taught photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City since 2002.
