Lisbeth Firmin is a contemporary American painter and printmaker whose fine art straddles the line between realism and abstraction. She has been painting from an early age and in the 1970’s studied with printmaker Seong Moy, and painters Philip Malicoat, Victor Candell, and Leo Manso in Provincetown, MA. Her artwork explores feelings of solitude and loneliness within an urban city environment.

She teaches painting/printmaking at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Winston Salem, NC and at the Truro Center for the Arts, Castle Hill, Cape Cod, MA.
