Alan Petrulis, was born in Queens, New York, in 1954. He received a MFA (‘79) in printmaking from Baltimore’s Maryland Institute of Art. He has exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions. His work is in permanent collections of the Brooklyn Museum, the New York Historical Society, the Museum of the City of New York, the New York Transit Museum, Syracuse University, The Newark Library, The Boston Atheneum, and the Cahoon Museum of American Art in addition to as well as various private and corporate collections.
