JIMMIE JAMES & NUALA CLARKE

Nuala Clarke, born in Dublin in 1970, was raised in a seaside village outside the city. After graduating from the National College of Art and Design, she moved to New York City and, at twenty-three met Jimmie James, a painter fifteen years her senior. They spent the next twelve years successfully collaborating on artworks and exhibiting at galleries until 2006. Since then, she has exhibited her own works in various places throughout the USA and Europe.

Jimmie James, a Brooklyn born painter, actor, singer/songwriter, composer, and poet has been a fixture in New York City’s art, theater and music scenes for many years. He has exhibited his works at multiple galleries throughout the city and the world. His works have been placed in a number of private collections.
